Rev Up Referrals to Boost Your Business

NetConnect announces its Fall Networking event.

NetConnect is a networking group based in Niles, IL and is affiliated with the Niles andMorton Grove Chambers of Commerce.  Its mission is to provide local small business owners, entrepreneurs and marketers a place to connect with like-minded individuals and get ideas to help them grow their business, specifically, ideas that they can implement quickly (often the same day) and see clear, measurable results within days.

Come network at our event, talk with small business owner, entrepreneurs, self-employed and other like-minded individuals and discover how to make it easy for people to refer clients to you… so you can grow your business by word of mouth. (Hint: it means making sure those mouths know the exact right words to say.)

The event, co-sponsored by the Morton Grove and Niles Chambers of Commerce in partnership with NetConnect Networking Group, takes place

Thursday, November 14th, at the BMO Harris Bank in Niles (7077 Dempster Avenue) in
Niles. Registration starts at
7:30 AM, and the event will end at 9:30 AM.
Breakfast is provided by
Kappy’s Restaurant of Morton Grove.

The presenter is Catherine Johns. Catherine coaches entrepreneurs and professionals who build their business with networking, speaking engagements, sales presentations, or all of the above. Catherine helps her clients get more magnetic so they attract more business.

As a radio news anchor and reporter, talk show host, and morning show side-chick at WLS and WJMK-fm. She learned to tell a story, engage an audience, and dance with the unexpected working alongside legends like Larry Lujack, Fred Winston, and John Landecker.

Moving from the boys’ club of broadcasting into the business world, Catherine became a communication skills coach and consultant. She helped professionals capture the attention of an audience, be it seven people or 700, for the purpose of building their business.

In Catherine’s new book, Show Up & Shine: Simple Steps to Boost Your Confidence & Charisma readers discover how to enhance their personal presence, change the way they come across in business situations (and in life!) … and change the results they get.
